The Center for Clinical Organizational Science is a practice-based research organization in Tokyo advancing the structural study of how organizations stabilize and transform.

Our research

Clinical Organizational Science (COS) is an integrative framework that treats organizational stability not as passive inertia but as an actively and recursively reproduced dynamic state. Drawing on complexity science, neuroscience, organizational psychology, and behavioral science, it specifies the structural mechanisms through which organizations maintain their current patterns — and the conditions under which durable transformation becomes more probable.
